About the Role

As a Senior Client Strategist, you’ll lead a portfolio of B2B clients, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring their success. Your role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, from crafting social media content to running outreach campaigns and leading strategy sessions. You’ll directly contribute to Blackjet Social’s guaranteed ROI promise while leveraging AI tools and data insights to continually refine strategies.

A Typical Week Might Include

  • Hosting client meetings to align on strategies and goals.
  • Leading strategy sessions, creating actionable plans, and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Crafting and scheduling client deliverables.
  • Analysing performance dashboards to refine strategies.

Blackjet Social is looking for a Marketing Assistant who thrives in a task-driven, execution-heavy role. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that’s leading the way in B2B marketing for the professional services sector, including financial advisers, by delivering high-impact, results-driven strategies with guaranteed ROI and no ad spend.

We’re a growing B2B social media agency dedicated to generating leads on autopilot for professional services clients. Through our flagship service, Blackjet Autopilot, we use cutting-edge content, social media management, email marketing, and database nurturing to drive measurable results that help our clients thrive.

The Role

This isn’t just a typical Marketing Assistant position—this is your chance to work in an environment where you’ll dive into the “doing” of digital marketing. From crafting content and managing social media schedules to supporting lead generation campaigns and executing email sequences, you’ll be integral to our clients' success.

A usual week would look like joining us in our newly fitted-out Wellington CBD office every Monday for weekly meetings, working remotely or in the office the rest of the week, and attending online client meetings with the Client Manager. You’ll be executing on tasks with precision and keeping projects on track. This role is flexible, with a minimum of 15 hours per week and up to 25 hours as needed.

 What We’re Looking For

  • B2B Experience or Professional Services Slant: Our clients value high-impact, results-focused strategies tailored for a business audience. Familiarity with B2B or professional services marketing is beneficial but not required.
  • Task-Driven & Detail-Oriented: You love diving into detailed work and managing your responsibilities with accuracy and focus.
  • High Communicator & Team Player: You communicate well, collaborate with the delivery team, and advocate for client results.
  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled at working with data, tracking lead generation results, and optimizing outreach strategies.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot, AI tools like ChatGPT, and social media tools like Canva and scheduling platforms.
  • Strong Writer: You can write engaging social posts, blogs, EDMs, and LinkedIn messages with a professional tone tailored to B2B clients.
